
SWAT is a non-profit parent owned organization registered with the state of Utah. It maintains a charitable status as a 501C3. Because of this, we rely on the parents/gardians of our swimmers to volunteer for the Board of Directors and other team committees to help our team function and ensure that our team goals are acheived.
The management of the club is conducted by the Board of
Directors. The Board meets once each month at 5:00 p.m. during
the short course season. The dates of the board meetings are yet to
be determined. All parents/gaurdians of the swimmers are invited to attend.

The positions are appointed by the Board. Each member of the Board serves according to the needs of the Board. Board members are approved by the parents/gaurdians of team members once a year in September. Other committees will be formed to help with specific team functions as directed by the Board.
SWAT relies on parents to volunteer to help with many aspects of running a competative swim team. For SWAT to continue to function smoothly and to create a good experience for our children we need to have parent participation! There are many ways to help the swim team.
