Eligibility Open to all swimmers of CHAT, DDDR, HAST, OTAC, PCAT, SWAT, and UVRAYS who are currently registered with USA Swimming and all UNAT Swimmers. No on-deck registration will be permitted. Swimmer’s age as of January 13^th.

Check-In: The meet will be a negative check-in. Coaches, please remember to scratch all athletes prior to final seeding.

Course: Six lane, 25 yard pool with Colorado Timing System, horn start.

Rules: 2006 U.S.A. Swimming rules will be in effect. A mandatory scratch down will apply at this meet, subject to the provisions of USA Swimming Rules and Regulations (205.3.1F). If a scratch-down is needed to meet the four hour time limit, swimmers will be reimbursed. A check will be sent to each team needing reimbursement.

Entries: Swimmers may participate in THREE (3 events. Please submit all entries on a disk using Hy-Tek software, or use Utah entry form.

Entry Fee: $2.00 per event with a $3.00 surcharge.

Awards: Ribbons will be given for 1^st through 6^th place.

Warm-up: Utah Swimming Procedures will be used. All warm ups will be under the supervision of an USA Registered Official. Coaches have the responsibility of insuring that all swimmers are instructed in proper warm up procedures and the swimmers follow all USI Swimming safety procedures. If you do not have a coach with you, please check in with the meet director or referee before entering the pool. A coach will be assigned to you. USA Swimming rule 202.3.2 stated that “at a sanctioned event all competitors must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee shall assist the athlete in making arrangements for such supervision.” All lanes of the pool will be circle swimming only. During the last 15 minutes of warm-up, lanes 2 and 5 will be open for diving starts. During the last 15 minutes lanes 1 and 6 will be open for pace.

Scratch Procedure: The Clerk of Course should be notified of all scratches no later than 15 minutes prior to Final seeding. Final seeding will begin at 8:15 A.M.
