Meet Referee/Starter: Debby Fleisch (943-2182) and Roger Roth

Eligibility: Open to all swimmers of CHAT, DDDR, HAST, OTAC, PCAT, SWAT and UVRAYS who are currently registered with USA Swimming and all UNAT swimmers. No on-deck registration. Swimmer’s age will be that on December 16, 2006.

Check-In: The meet will be a negative check-in. Coaches, please remember to scratch your athletes that will not be competing.

Course: Six lane, 25 yard pool, Colorado Timing system, horn start.

Rules: 2006 U.S.A. Swimming rules will be in effect.

A mandatory scratch down will apply at this meet, subject to the provisions of USA Swimming Rules and Regulations (205.3.1F).  If a scratch-down is needed to meet the four (4) hour time limit, swimmers will be reimbursed.  A check will be sent to each team needing reimbursement.

Entries: Swimmers may participate in THREE (3) events. Please submit all entries on a disk using Hy-tek software, or use the enclosed entry form.

Entry Fees: $2.00 per event and plus a $2.00 surcharge.

Awards: Ribbons will be given to “B” and below swimmers for 1st through 6th place. The 10-Under age group will be broken up into 9-10 and 8-Under. Certificates will be given to swimmers achieving their first “AAAA”, “AAA”, “AA”, “A” and “BB” times.

Warm-up: Utah Swimming Procedures will be used. All warm ups will be under the supervision of an USA Registered Official. Coaches have the responsibility of insuring that all swimmers are instructed in proper warm up procedures and the swimmers follow all USI Swimming safety procedures. If you do not have a coach with you, please check in with the meet director or referee before entering the pool. A coach will be assigned to you. USA Swimming rule 202.3.2 stated that “at a sanctioned event all competitors must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee shall assist the athlete in making arrangements for such supervision.” All lanes of the pool will be circle swimming only. During the last 15 minutes of warm-up, lanes 2 and 5 will be open for diving starts. During the last 15 minutes lanes 1 and 6 will be open for pace.

Scratch Procedure: The Clerk of Course should be notified of all scratches no later than 15 minutes prior to final seeding. Final seeding will begin at 8:00 a.m.

The undersigned swimmer, coach, parent or team representative of the swimmer listed above hereby certifies that the swimmer is a registered member of USA Swimming and that all times stated on this form are true and correct. The undersigned further assumes responsibility for any false or incorrect times, and understands that all listed entry times are subject to Utah Swimming Time Verification Procedures, and that a fine of $20.00 shall be paid to Utah Swimming Inc. for each incorrect time, unless corrected before the entry deadline. It is understood that an automatic call before the review section shall be the result for a third entry time that cannot be verified.
